(Friday May 27) The Reapers played their last game of the re-tiering round against the YDP, both teams came away with a point as the final score was 2-2. Fans expected a high scoring game as both clubs are averaging about 5 goals for a game, but the refs took control of the game from the start. 74 penalty minutes (40 YDP, 34 Reapers) were given out, which ruined the flow of the game.
After the re-tiering the Reapers have been moved up to Div 5. This should be the clubs best test as this is the highest division the Reapers have played in the summer season. The Reapers first opponent of the new division is against the McGuire’s Monster, a team which should be in the top 3 in division at the end of the regular season.
