(Tuesday June 7) The Reapers came into this game tied for first place in the division. They knew that this was a must win game and that is want happen, as the Reapers beat the CHL Rangers 6-3.
Mike Volney got a break away on the penalty kill to take an early 1-0 lead, he ended the game with a 3 point night. Kyle Sagan also had a big night as he became the first Reaper to score 2 short handed goals in a game, he also finished the game with 3 points. Jon Ayon was a catalyst on the grind all night.
The funniest play of the night came when Ryan Murray drew a penalty against the CHL Rangers, and all 5 Ranger players circled the refs and started screaming / complaining about the call.
