(Wednesday May 4) The Reapers came into this game with their new vintage jerseys, the same jerseys they had when they enter the league back in 2002. The club beat the Vikings 6-3, continuing their undefeated streak to 6 games (tied for 2nd all-time).
Tyler Hayes and Matt Dillon led the way offensively, both scoring 3 points. Jon was a catalyst on the grind all night as he was moved up to forward just before game time.
The best call of the year might go to Mike Volney, with 3 seconds left in the game himself and a Vikings player got tangled up and rolled on the ground together. The ref on the play called a penalty on them both for “hugging” that was the word that was wrote down on the score sheet describing the penalty.
The goal of the year might go to Matt Dillon as he scored a Pavel Datsyuk goal, by undressing the goalie and then going bar down.
“Pavel and I are good friends, I showed him how to do that move.” Matt had to say.
