The Reapers Win First Game Of The Semi Finals
(Friday Aug 5) The Reapers come into the playoffs on a high from provincials, where they won the gold medal in tier 3 and get an invite to Westerns in Vancouver Aug 2012. They know their work is not done yet, as their goal in mind is to bring a division title home for the first time in the summer league. Their first road block is the Park Crusaders. The Crusaders won the season match up 2-1 over the Reapers. The Provincial hang over didn't happen on this night has the Reapers carried on from the last weekend and beat the Crusaders 8-1.
Game 2 might be tough for the Reapers as the Park Crusaders are playing for their playoff lives. One more loss for the Crusaders and that will end their season. The Reapers will have to come out fast and hard as they will try to eliminate the Crusaders.
Tyler Hayes led the way with 4 goals and 2 assist. Matt Dillon had 3 goals a 1 assist. Rohit Kapoor had close to 15 blocked shots, which kept Danny Volney goals against average down.
